Give Back Health Clinic Collection Soy Isoflavones (SIF) is manufactured and tested in TGA-registered GMP facilities here in Australia, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and efficacy. Every product, every batch, with no exceptions. This means the included ingredients are what they claim to be and the products are therefore more likely to have an actual therapeutic impact. This process also prevents counterfeit and adulterated materials from entering the market. While it adds significantly to our costs, we believe this level of integrity should be the industry standard. Please note that we absorb the extra expense ourselves; it is not passed on to you.

We use Novasoy® soy isoflavones, the gold standard in soy isoflavone extracts. If you know Novasoy® you know what that means for quality, consistency and clinical outcomes. Novasoy® Isoflavones are Non-GMO, standardised isoflavones with consistent quantities of the key constituents genistein, daidzein and glycitein. These quantities match the clinical evidence and deliver an isoflavone ratio that reflects soy in nature.
Novasoy® is sourced from the USA.

We use gold-standard Capsugel® Vcaps® plus capsules from Lonza, widely considered the cleanest on the market. Unlike many capsules that contain gelatine or unnecessary additives like sodium lauryl sulphate, ours are made from just one ingredient: plant-based hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) (AKA hypromellose), derived from sustainably sourced pine trees. That’s it. These capsules are vegan, non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher and Halal certified, and Vegetarian Society approved.

  • Provides mild, selective estrogenic signalling with preferential affinity for estrogen receptor beta (ER-β).
  • Soy isoflavones are phytoestrogens that are structurally similar to 17β-estradiol. They interact with estrogen receptors and exhibit both estrogenic and anti-estrogenic activity, with preferential affinity for estrogen receptor beta (ER-β).
  • As endogenous estrogen levels decline during the perimenopausal transition, soy isoflavones can bind to estrogen receptors and provide mild, selective estrogenic signalling.
  • Rather than replacing endogenous estrogen, this receptor-selective modulation supports estrogen-responsive tissues and contributes to symptom-specific effects across domains such as vasomotor regulation, mood stability, bone turnover, vaginal epithelial health and cognitive clarity.
  • Soy isoflavones have the unique ability of acting as both antagonists and agonists, where they can act as weak estrogen modulators, mimicking estrogen when levels are low and blocking its receptors when levels are high. This is particularly relevant during the perimenopausal transition when estrogen levels fluctuate, which helps to flatten the curve for patients and provide a more stable, less symptom driven experience during this transition.

  • Reduces the frequency and severity of hot flushes.
  • Contributes to reductions in night sweats as part of overall vasomotor symptom improvements.
  • Improves mood-related menopausal symptoms, including depressive symptoms, irritability and emotional regulation. Benefits appear most evident during the perimenopausal transition.
  • Supports bone health during the perimenopause transition by reducing bone turnover and modestly improving bone mineral density (BMD) across key skeletal sites at clinically relevant doses.
  • Improves vaginal comfort and reduces vaginal dryness and pain with intercourse associated with menopausal estrogen decline. Evidence supports benefits for vaginal atrophy. Effects on libido or broader sexual function remain inconsistent.
  • Supports cognitive clarity and memory in women experiencing brain fog during the perimenopausal transition.

When selecting a Soy Isoflavones product, key factors include clinical research on the raw material, clinical dosing, purity, excipient profile, country of origin, GMO status and manufacturing standards. Most formulas use generic soy extracts and have little to no clinical backing. While they may meet a basic isoflavone specification, specification alone does not equal clinical evidence. Novasoy® does.
With human clinical trials supporting its isoflavone profile, it is the reliable choice for when your patients are navigating one of the most significant hormonal transitions of their lives, and you need to know that the supplement component of the care is beyond question.

At Give Back Health, we follow a conservative risk/benefit approach and recommend healthcare practitioners assess use on a case-by-case basis, depending on individual patient needs, context and response to treatment.

When used orally in medicinal amounts, soy contains mildly estrogenic constituents. Theoretically, therapeutic use of soy might adversely affect fetal development. Therefore we recommend to avoid use.

Take 1 capsule twice per day.

For therapeutic efficacy, the clinically trialled daily dosage for Novasoy® is 300 mg, equivalent to 120 mg soy isoflavones (40% standardised).

Results are generally seen within 4 weeks, with further improvement by 12 weeks.
If patients’ don’t experience benefits within 4 weeks, it’s often indicated to refer for further investigation. Refer to our Navigating Perimenopause webinar for further information.

Give Back Health Clinic Collection Soy Isoflavones (SIF) is designed to be paired perfectly with Meno-P to address the majority of perimenopause presentations. In addition to that, it’s most commonly used alongside our MagRegulate®, L-Theanine, Curcuma Phospholipids, RejuveGen®, Multi VMN, and NMN for additional support, depending on clinical goals.

There is often a misconception between soy allergy and soy intolerance. With a confirmed soy allergy, it’s recommended to avoid and look for alternatives like red clover or flaxseed. Our Meno-P product also offers soy-free menopause support. If the patient has a soy intolerance, it’s often still indicated to trial with caution. This usually occurs in patients with poor digestion who struggle to metabolise the fibre in soy. However, this issue doesn’t apply to soy isoflavone supplements.
