Due to the Ashwagandha in Natural Energy, we do not recommned use in pregnancy and lactation unless clearly indicated.

• Alpinia galanga: While Alpinia galanga is not specifically contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation, there is insufficient reliable evidence so we recommend avoid use.
• Withania somnifera: when used orally. Ashwagandha has abortifacient effects.

• Take 2 capsules daily. Can be taking day or night.
• The clinically trialled daily dosage for enXtra® (Alpinia galanga) is 300 mg.
• The clinically trialled daily dosage for KSM-66 Ashwagandha® (Withania somnifera) is 600 mg.

We use enXtra®, a clinically trialled Alpinia galanga extract sourced from Omni Active and KSM-66 Ashwagandha® , an organic clinically trialled Withania somnifera extract sourced from Ixoreal.

We use gold-standard Capsugel® green capsules from Lonza (naturally coloured with chlorophyll), widely considered the cleanest on the market. Unlike many capsules that contain gelatine or unnecessary additives like sodium lauryl sulphate, ours are made from just plant-based hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) (AKA hypromellose), derived from sustainably sourced pine trees, and water. That’s it. Our Natural Energy formula contains one additional natural ingredient – chlorophyll – for its beautiful green hue. Yes. While we think it's best to consider dropping or reducing caffeine, there are studies on enXtra® that have been done in combination with caffeine and actually found that enXtra® is not only more potent than caffeine, but also reduced the jitters associated with caffeine.

Yes if required. Both KSM-66 Ashwagandha® and enXtra® have good safety profiles and even though Natural Energy contains more than twice the amount of extract than many other practitioner only Ashwagandha products (600 mg vs 240 mg), taking two capsules twice daily when required is completely suitable in most cases.

We have had excellent feedback on Natural Energy for patients experiencing high anxiety and stress relating to burnout. For more severe burnout recovery (where phsyical impact is also indicated), we suggest also including RejuveGen® in a protocol as it a potent formulation developed with burnout as a key indication for use.
